On 11th January 2021, Appvantage proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of innovation and excellence in automotive solutions design. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held virtually, welcoming guests from around the world.

The celebration kicked off with a nostalgic photo montage, highlighting memorable moments from the company’s journey. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome speech from Managing Director and Founder, Mr Eng Poo Yang. He reflected on the company’s humble beginnings, its growth, and the challenges overcome with the support of clients and partners. He also acknowledged key milestones, such as the creation of signature products like AutoSource™ and AutoSprint™, as well as achieving the prestigious TISAX certification.

In his speech, Mr Eng Poo Yang emphasised the passion and resilience that have defined Appvantage over the past decade:

“We (Appvantage) do not have powerful investors, nor rich backers, but our core burns with passion. Our professionalism, shaped by hardships, and the uncompromising values that underscore our team have made us who we are. We are Appvantage!”

From a small team of five, Appvantage has grown into a 25-strong workforce, with headquarters and two regional offices. For the first time in the company’s history, awards were presented for strategic partnerships and long service, recognising the invaluable contributions of partners and staff over the years. Award recipients were invited to give thank-you speeches, adding a personal touch to the occasion.

The event also featured congratulatory messages from clients, partners, and former employees, who shared their best memories and well-wishes for Appvantage’s future.

The celebration concluded with the virtual cutting of the anniversary cake and a group photo, symbolising the unity and resilience of the Appvantage team.

It was truly an event of many firsts: the first decade, the first virtual anniversary celebration, and the first gathering of so many clients, partners, and former staff.
